District 2 Report — July 2024

Some of the projects in the D2 area: 

Rosendin/Meadows joint venture project at Harbor UCLA. Currently, they are working on the first tower. Steel and decks are in, and walls are being installed. The second tower should start soon. Once the first tower is finished, they will move the current staff into the new tower and start retrofitting and building out the existing hospital to turn it into office space. 

Gregg Electric should be onsite soon for the new tilt-ups at Western and 190th St. in Torrance. They have started grading out the pads. 

CSI at Harbor College is starting a new three-story nursing building. Steel and decks have been installed, and walls are starting to go up. They are also working on the new San Pedro Waterfront project. 

Neubauer Electric is at Long Beach City College Carson Campus on a new Music/Theatre Arts Bldg. Steel and decks are installed, and walls are starting to go up. They are also on the retro fit of a Health Science Building at Cerritos College.
