District 4 Report — July 2024

Greetings from District 4. I hope everyone is having a good summer.

The work picture is improving in Local 11, including District 4. The $1.2 Billion Burbank Airport is underway. Due to engineering issues ,it is getting off to a slow start. Deadlines still need to be met, and we all know that means OT.

Demo and grading have been completed at The Glendale Power Plant, and construction of two new generators with battery storage should begin soon.

Demo and grading have begun at Burbank and Sun Valley Power Plants are getting ready for additional power production and storage. 

I will be retiring on August 1st. It has been an honor and privilege serving the membership of Local 11.
