Convention Center Report — September 2022

First let me say “thank you” to our members who have filled these Convention Center calls and proudly represented our union. Business Manager Joёl Barton has designated a group to update the current Trade Show Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). There have been questions and concerns regarding dispatch guidelines. To retain your place on the out-of-work book, please make sure your termination slip reflects a Reduction in Force. Also, you will need to sign the out-of-work book by the next closing business day of your termination slip.

There is no limit to how many days you can work on a single Convention call, including the LA Auto Show. When dispatched, please request, and review a copy of our current Trade Show MOU. The result of your hard work, certifications, continued education, and dedication has regained and maintained this work.
