Sound & Communications Report – December 2024

A sincere thank you to all Sound members who attended the November 2, 2024 Special Called Allocation meeting. The $1.60 was allocated as follows: $1.00 Health, $0.40 Wages, $0.20 DC (Annuity). 

Unit 9 Holiday Party: Saturday, December 14th, 10am-2pm at South Bay Hall- 2150 W. 190th St. Torrance, Ca 90501. Family and loved ones are welcome to attend and share in the festivities. 

Business Manager, Robert Corona will have the honor on this day to present our Sound members that have served 20 years or more in IBEW  local 11 with their service pins. If you are planning to attend and meet those years of service and would like your pin, please reach out to Deon Mayes or myself ASAP. 

Rosendin Electric was awarded Burbank Airport doing Special Systems work that will keep our members working until 2027.  

Lead and Asbestos classes are currently being offered at the ETI to help meet the jobs that are requiring them.
