District 1 North Report — December 2024

Happy Holidays from the heart of Los Angeles, District 1. I hope everyone gets to enjoy this special time with the ones they love. Remember we are a family here, and if you don’t have a place to be for the holidays, please reach out, a lot of members open their homes for those of us who need somewhere to be. There are also a lot of Local opportunities to spend time with your brothers and sisters of the IBEW, and I hope you are able to attend at least one of our district holiday events.

The ETI has scheduled multiple Lead and Asbestos classes over the next month to help prepare our members for the LAUSD work that has been and will continue to come in with the passing of measure US, bringing 9 Billion dollars to LAUSD school upgrades.

Here’s to a successful New Year, with lots of work to come our way!
