CE/CW Report – July 2024

Bother and Sisters,

Hi everyone, I am your CW/CE Representative, Jackie Waltman.

I will be looking into starting a code prep class for CW-6’s and CE’s. Please email me at jwaltman@ibew11.org if you are interested.

Just a reminder that if you are a CW, please be sure to keep your Electrician Trainee Certification up to date. Be sure to enroll in an accredited program and attend classes as required. The State of California may not reissue your ET card if you do not.

As we settle into the summer months, remember how important it is to hydrate. Heat exhaustion can take a toll on our bodies. Take water breaks and get into a shaded area if necessary.

Lastly, if you plan on taking a job call, remember to make yourself available on the day book by 8 a.m. on the day you want to take a call.

As always, be good to one another and support your brothers and sisters in any way you can.
