District 1 South Report — April 2025

Good day brothers and sisters! As we Spring Forward into the month of April, we recognize the beauty from our ashes. Just like the rain makes our flowers radiate in vibrant colors, so does the beauty from our ashes reflect our hearts in the county. As we recover from the tragic fires that had shaken us, we can smile because of the love and support that was received from near and far.

We are entering into the second quarter of 2025, and the work picture is steady. We have experienced a few drawbacks, as well as multiple set-ups for success. District 1 is growing by the day. Whether that growth is coming from projects going strong or our members educating ourselves for the future work picture. As our industry grows, so does our knowledge of the electrical endeavors that contribute to our society.

I want to encourage all of our members to continue to be active in our local. Continue to pursue greatness and strive for excellence in our careers. No one is perfect, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t apply perfect effort. We are IBEW Strong!
