Unit 14 Civil Service Report – September 2025

Hello, Brothers and Sisters. Alex and I have been in negotiations with L.A. County, LAUSD, and HACLA and are working to update the State MOU. 

COUNTY 

Our bargaining team is currently meeting with the County. It has been an uphill battle, but we continue to bargain to get the best possible contract. We did secure a great fringe-benefit package.  

LAUSD 

We have met with the District several times. We continue to bargain and have agreed on a few proposals.  

HACLA 

Our bargaining team has met and will soon start negotiations.  

I encourage all Brothers and Sisters to attend our Unit 14 meetings on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5 p.m. We will have updates on all our negotiations. I’m also looking forward to seeing all of you on October 11 for Local 11’s annual Picnic and Health Fair. I encourage you to bring the family and enjoy a fun time with the Brotherhood!
