District 1 North Report — October 2024

Greetings District 1,

Calls continue to trickle in, and as we begin to enter convention season, we should start to see more convention center calls, so keep an eye out for that. And as a reminder, you will not lose your place on the inside book if you take a convention call.

We should also start seeing work for LAUSD on multiple school projects. So, now would be a good time to update your certifications and training.

Finally, we have a lot of events coming up in the next month or two, including the family-friendly D4/EWMC Chili Cook-off and trunk-or-treat event on October 19th!

We will also be doing some canvassing in Palmdale as well as phone banking to help elect labor friendly representatives who support union projects in the Los Angeles area. For more info and to RSVP, contact Antonio Sanchez at Sanchez@ibew11.org.
