District 1 South Report — December 2024

Happy Holidays Brothers and Sisters! It’s that time of year where we are cuddling up with our loved ones and expressing our thanks and gratitude. Some material gifts are going to be given, and some hugs are going to be the biggest gift that’s needed in this time. Local 11 holiday parties are on the horizon. A time for us to get together as union siblings and create memories that’ll last a lifetime. These bonds will get us through the hard times that we face in challenging seasons.

As it has been said, upcoming work is in sight. From projects like Hollywood Park Hotel and parking structure that’s near SOFI Stadium, to LAUSD projects being funded. Some of the existing projects are going into the next phase, which in turn, continues to grow our city as well as allowing us to provide for our families. We are pushing through with the strength of our brother and sisterhood. Stay energizing my friends!
